I am now home again and can unequivocally state that my MinMaxTravel.com reservation was confirmed and honored at the Hanoi City hotel of my choice and not a penny more was charged than guaranteed. The rate was also 40 percent less than the hotels lowest special offer, yet I got to enjoy all the excellent amenities of this upscale property, which under "normal circumstances" I would not have dreamed of checking into. Way to go Minmaxtravel.com and keep those prices down, so that us travelers with a "beer budget" can stay at accommodations for those with a "champagne budget".

I had a couple of hours in Hanoi, between 2 long flights. I arranged with MinMax Travel in advance, telling him what i wanted. A couple of emails later, he had arranged for someone to wait for me at the hotel (after a quick shower), Ben.
He showed up on time, with a lovely garland of flowers (bought on an impulse in the morning at the flower market). I explained what my interests and constraints were, and he let me knowledgeably to show me the type of things I was interested in. Charming, knowledgeable, flexible, those few hours were pleasantly spent, and gave me the best grasp of Hanoi that I could hope for in such a short time.
Ben also was responsible in arranging various things I needed, such as checking out the cab for knowledge and fare. No surprises. All in all, defintely recommended.

We have visited Ho Chi Minh City for 2 days prior to our visit to Hanoi City and arranged tours of the city, floating market, fruits market and fishing village on 2 consecutive days through tour with MinMax Travel. MinMax Travel has given a great service although he is recovering from a surgery. Our guides, especially Lam was great and informative. We would like to thank MinMax Travel and his crew so much and recommend him service to all people who would want to see the "other" local face of Ho Chi Minh City.

We were in Hanoi for a couple of days and wanted a guide to give us the history, stories and know how off getting around efficiently. We had 2 children with us, aged 7 & 10.

Tour with MinMax arranged for May to show us around at short notice which was very much appreciated.

We asked to be taken to the Temple of Literature, Hanoi Old Quarter Streets, Hoan Kiem Lake (Ngoc Son Temple), Markets, offer food to the local people and a trip on the Red River. All this was arranged with more visits to sights, smells and sounds in between! Our girls were entertained throughout by May and postcards of Hanoi and the tourist sights were given as rewards for a fun quiz.

Afterwards we asked to be taken to an internet cafe which was easily done and then taken to a lovely restaurant at Quan Ngon - Phan Boi Chau Str, where we had a very reasonable lunch with plenty of Vietnamese local foods.

I thouroughly recommend Minmaxtravel.com and we will definately use their services again when in Hanoi (there's much more to see!)

My family and I recently arrived home from a holiday in Vietnam. We had a few days in Hanoi and 1 of those days, we spent with Lam. A guide who works with MinMax.

It was a great day, Lam was full of information, had a great sense of humour and was just a lovely gentleman. The tour we did was the Hanoi City, Sapa by train, halong Bay Cruises, Hoa Lu - Tam Coc by small Boat...

We were at Bac Ha Market early before the influx of tourists so we were able to see the Local people going about their business.We had breakfast at Lao Cai, the best noodles from the award winning noodle lady and then we were at Sapa Town. This was definitely the highlight of the day. When we return to the city, we saw a side of Hanoi that we didn"t know existed. We saw the local people working at country side, out of Hanoi City, we talked with local people & children they were very cute. We had a fantastic time. The lunch was fresh Vietnamese local foods and fresh fruit, prepared by a local family. Also great. This was definitely the Hightlight of our day, the traditional village is worth visiting. We also went to the Dong Xuan Market, where we did some greats shopping.

Overall the day was one of the best I have ever had with my family and we will be using MinMax Tours again and again. Thanks Lam and thanks Minmax Travel for putting so much effort and love into your Tours. We will be seeing you again.
